Striking grey cultured pearl with antique old mine cut diamond halo engagement ring dating to the late Victorian to Edwardian periods. This is an excellent piece! The grey cultured pearl has stunning green undertones and good lustre which contrasts beautifully with the sparkle of the diamond halo. The pearl is set above the diamonds with the halo sloping away at the edge of the top allowing it to catch the light. This ring dips between each of the bead set diamonds creating a scallop edged top which is lined in milgrain beading.

The band is plain and unadorned, keeping the focus on the cultured pearl and diamond cluster. Underneath a floral style lattice holds the gemstones off the finger. Circa 1880s - 1910s, likely European in origin.

Pearl: cultured, grey with green undertones and very good lustre, approx 5.7 mm.

Diamonds: 10, old mine cut, each diamond is estimated in setting as 2.4 mm, 0.06 carats each to total 0.60 carats, G / H colour, SI clarity.

Not hallmarked, tested as platinum.

Size: UK - M 3/4; US - 6 5/8; EU - 17.1. Sizing available for an additional fee.

Measures approx 11.3 mm wide and rises approx 8 mm tall off the finger.
