Antique pearl fly pendant crafted in 15ct gold. This sweetie is highly detailed with engraved, textured gold wings. Little legs are bent and end at the smallest forked feet. Bezel set into the thorax and abdomen are white cultured pearls. The white of the pearls and the bright and shiny gold of the fly's body contrast very nicely. This piece was originally a pin and we've converted it into a pendant, using the pin section to make a bail. Circa late 19th century fly, modern conversion.
