Antique 9ct gold heart shaped clasp charm. This puffy heart is designed in a lock style shape. The heart features very detailed, ornate engraving in the shape of swirls dancing across the front. The back side is plain except the gold fineness stamp. A top loop clicks into place, allowing this heart to be secured to an item. The clasp is tight and holds very well. A the top of the loop is a small bail with an attached jump ring. This versatile piece can be worn as a charm, clasp or pendant. Dates to the late Victorian era, British in origin.

Stamped 9c on the back, professionally tested and assessed as 9 carat gold. The colour is quite rosy, more rose gold than yellow gold.
