Antique elegant 9 carat gold trombone link chain. This necklace is long and lean making a simple statement when worn. Long oval shaped links, measuring approx 1.8 mm wide by 4.9 mm long, are connected with a shorter series of smaller round links. At 14.7 inches long this is a shorter length chain which just skims the collar bones on my neck. Circa early 20th century.
In good condition with minor wear in keeping with age and use.
Stamped 9ct on a tag on the barrel clasp. Professionally tested and assessed as 9 carat gold throughout. The gold is lightly rosy in colour, a warm peachy colour rather than a true modern rose or yellow gold.
Measures approx 37.3 cm / 14.7 inches in length by 1.8 mm in width.
Weighs 2.0 grams.
