Antique 9ct gold bean pendant! A sweet and beautifully engraved lucky bean charm crafted in 9 carat gold. The front is engraved with ivy leafs, in Victorian times having the meaning of fondness since ivy clings. Circa early 20th century, modern conversion.

In good condition. This was originally a single cuff link and we've made it into two bean pendants. This listing is for the bean shown, which is the bean on the left in the photo with two beans.

Hallmarked for 9 carat gold, assayed at Chester assay office in 1906.

Measures approx 18.9 mm tall not including the bail by 9.4 mm wide and 5.25 mm deep. This bean is hallow and isn't quite as deep as some others we've seen, perhaps keeping a lower profile because it was originally a cuff link.
