Antique 9 carat gold bi-colour length chain. Oblong white gold links alternate with sets of knotted style yellow gold links. The contrast between the styles and colours of the links makes them very distinguishable. One end of this chain terminates in an above average sized spring bolt clasp and the other end terminates in a small dog clip clasp. Circa late 19th to early 20th century, British in origin.

In very good condition. Both clasps are tight and springy.

Marked 9ct on the dog clip and spring bolt clasp. Professionally tested and assessed as 9 carat gold throughout. The gold is yellow and white in colour.

Measures approx 35 cm / 13.75 inches in total length. On me this is not long enough to be a necklace and works well as a doubled bracelet - shown on model as both a bracelet and necklace. The long links measure approx 12.3 mm / 0.50 inches in length. Links are 2.5 mm wide at widest point. The spring bolt clasp measures approx 8.7 mm external diameter and the dog clip measures approx 18.8 mm long.
