Antique amethyst heart pendent set in 9 carat gold. This purple amethyst heart is claw set in six prongs. . The heart is large and the design simple keeping all the focus on the amethyst. At the top the bail is a fluted design. The pendant is currently on a delicate trace chain. Circa 1900, British in origin.

Hallmarked for 9 carat gold, assayed in Birmingham, date letter for 1901.. Professionally tested and assessed as 9 carat gold throughout. The gold is rosy in tone.
