Elegant antique ruby single stone ring. An oval cut ruby is simply set in an 18 carat yellow gold mounting. The ruby is a brilliant red colour, going slightly pinkish in some lighting. A fine milgrain edged bezel holds the ruby, the simple mounting keeping the focus on the gemstone. Shoulders slope up and pinch in to meet the bezel edge. The band is a simple D shape profile. Circa very early 20th century, British in origin.

Ruby: oval cut measuring approx 7.7 mm by 5.85 mm, calculated as 1.55 carats within the limits of the mounting.

Stamped 18ct. Professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat gold throughout. The gold is yellow in colour.

Size: UK - K.5; US - 5.75; EU - 16,25. This ring can be resized between H.5 / 4.25 / 15,1 and P / 7.75 / 18. Sizing available for an additional fee.

Measures approx 8.2 mm by 6.25 mm on top by 4.3 mm rise off the finger, 1.9 mm band.
