Anchor link chain necklace crafted in 9 carat yellow gold. This link has long been popular and it's easy to see why! Oblong links with two holes allowing the next link to be threaded through. This style of link is what is used on anchors, and it looks great, narrow or wide, in jewellery. On this chain the anchor link alternates with a simple oval link. This is a nice lovely chain with a good weight and would be suitable for holding a pendant or locket. Circa 1970s.

Fully hallmarked on terminating ring for 9 carat gold, date letter for 1976.
