Wonderful rock crystal and sterling silver modernist ring dating to the 1970s. This Scandinavian ring is bold and beautiful! A huge clear rock crystal is set into long fin shaped prongs. From the side the angle of the prongs are elegant, following the shape of the stone and tapering down to where they meet the band. The wide band has a cut out design in it and tapers from 6.5 mm near the crystal to 5.7 mm at the back centre. Circa 1970s, Scandinavian in origin.

The silver setting underneath the crystal can be seen in photographs, giving the crystal a frosted look face on. In real life this is less obvious.

Rock crystal: round brilliant style cut, measures approx 14 mm.

The hallmarks were in the cast for this ring rather than stamped once the ring was completed. As such, they are faded and illegible. Tested as sterling silver.

Size: UK - O 1/2; US - 7 1/2; EU - 17.5. We don't recommend resizing this ring because of the way the band has been crafted.

Measures 21 mm across and rises 11.1 mm tall off the finger.
