Beautiful mid 20th century diamond solitaire engagement ring. A single diamond is bead set into an engraved platinum top. The edges around the square edges are lined with a double row of miligrain beading. The band of this ring is 9 carat yellow gold comes to a knife edge point near the diamond which is topped in platinum. This is a simple ring dating to 1940s, a time when the war was on, engagement rings were simple and the style minimalist. British in origin.
Diamond: round brilliant, approx 0.13 carat, G colour, VS clarity.
Marked 9ct PLAT. This ring is 9 carat yellow gold with the diamond set into a platinum top. Also contains the maker's mark for H. Samuels.
Size: UK - Q 1/2; US - 8 1/2; EU - 18 1/2. This ring can be sized down to L / 5.75 and up to S / 9.25. Sizing available for an additional fee.
Measures 5.28 mm wide and stands 3.5 mm tall off the finger.
