Wonderful Art Deco diamond solitaire engagement ring. This traditionally styled single stone diamond ring is set with a round brilliant cut diamond in a square shaped setting. The platinum topped shoulders are engraved in a faceted beaded design, made to look like diamonds . The sides are lined in milgrain beading. The top of this ring is palladium, a white metal in the same family as platinum and used during World War II when platinum was needed for the war effort. The band of this ring is 18 carat yellow gold. Circa 1940s, British in origin.

Diamond: early round brilliant cut, approx 3 mm, 0.10 carats, I / J colour, I1 / I2 clarity.

Marked as 18ct Pld This ring is mostly 18 carat yellow gold with the diamond set into a palladium top.

Size: UK - M 3/4; US - 6 3/4; EU - 17.2. This ring can be sized down to K / 5.25 and R / 8.6. Sizing available for an additional fee.

Measures 5.65 mm wide and rises 4.55 mm tall off the finger.
