Vintage three stone diamond engagement ring dating to the mid 20th century. The largest centre diamond is an old European cut diamond which is set into a square shaped white gold setting. To the sides are early round brilliant cut diamonds, set into a geometric shaped design. There is a line of milgrain around the smaller diamonds. The diamonds are set into white gold with the band of this ring in yellow gold. Circa 1940s, likely North American in origin.
Diamonds: 3 total. Centre old European cut diamond measures 4.6 mm and has a known weight of 0.40 carats, L / M colour, SI1 clarity. Side early round brilliant cut diamonds measure approx 3.2 mm and are calculated in setting as 0.24 carats total, I colour, VS2 & SI2 clarity. Total carat weight, calculated as setting permits is 0.64 carats.
Not marked, area where this ring had hallmarks can be seen, substantially faded and illegible. Tested as 14 carat gold.
Size: UK - N; US - 6 3/4; EU - 17 1/4. This ring can be sized between L / 5.75 and Q / 8.25. Sizing available for an additional fee.
Measures 5.4 mm wide and stands approx 5.55 mm tall off the finger.
