Stunning ruby and diamond daisy shaped cluster ring dating to the late Art Deco era. A rich velvety red ruby is secured in a bezel / rub over lined in milgrain beading. Forming a halo around the ruby are six pave set diamonds with a beaded edge. Fluted shoulders are knife edge in shape and accented with engraved scrolls and further beading. The gemstones are set into a platinum top with a yellow gold D shape profile band. Circa 1930s, British in origin.

Ruby: round cut, approx 3.7 mm.

Diamonds: 6, single cut, approx 0.16 carats total diamond weight.

Fully English hallmarked for 18 carat gold, assayed in Birmingham, date letter for 1939. Stamped PLAT. This ring is professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat yellow gold with the gemstones set into a platinum top.
