Vintage diamond cluster engagement ring. This ring contains a centre single or eight cut diamond, bead set in an engraved star design. Around the outside edge are eight small rose cut diamonds. This ring has a scalloped edge giving it a bit of a frilly feel. The shoulders taper to a point as they reach the top making the diamond setting look as though it's floating on the finger. Circa 1915 - 1920s, British in origin.

Diamonds: centre single cut and surrounding diamonds are rough rose cuts. 9 diamonds, approx 0.04 carats total weight.

Hallmarked as 18ct Plat. This ring is 18 carat yellow gold with the diamonds set in platinum. Also marked for Henry Griffith & Sons, a British jeweller.
