Gorgeous yellow gold pendant chain set with opals, rock crystals, and seed pearls. This chain is crafted in 18 carat yellow gold. Set toward the front are two stations comprised of small cream coloured seed pearls, beautiful greenish blue opals and a faceted rock crystal sandwiched in the middle. The colour of the opals is outstanding! Between the opals is a later addition, a single circle shape opal cabochon drop. The chain dates to around the turn of the 20th century.

Opals: 5 total, well matched and show mostly a greenish blue play of colour with some pale oranges. The opals on the chain are approx 6 mm at their widest point and the drop is approx 9.5 mm in diameter.

Seed pearls: cultured, cream in colour, well matched in colour and size, varying shapes.

Rock crystal: two faceted cut, crystal clear, tested.

Marked 750 for 18 carat gold on the clasp. The clasp is a more modern replacement. The chain tests as 18 carat through out. The later opal drop tests as 14 carat gold.

Measures 48.2 cm / 19 inches long and chain is approx 2 mm wide. Drop hangs approx 1.5 cm.
