I love this pendant! We've taken a large 0.78 carat diamond, saving it from it's 1970s mounting and creating a modern, wearable piece in a stylish 18 carat rose gold necklace.

This is a fantastic pendent with the diamond set into a classic bezel or rub over mounting. The bezel holds the diamonds by the girdle and slopes away, at an angle, allowing the diamond to really sparkle. The diamond is lower in colour, which is why we've set it in rose gold. The warm, red tone of the gold is very flattering to the diamond's colour. The bezel setting makes this diamond look larger in size while protecting it. It's a solid sided mounting with the wheat link chain threaded through the back so that the pendant can slide along the chain. The wheat link looks like liquid gold when worn and secures with a trigger or lobster style clasp.

Diamond: round brilliant cut measuring approx 5.95 mm and with a known weight of 0.78 carats, approx Q / R colour, VS2 clarity.

Fully hallmarked for 18 carat gold on the terminating jump ring.

Chain is 18 inches long and approx 1.25 mm wide making it a sturdy but delicate piece. Width at bezel is approx 7.35 mm.

Weighs 5.05 grams.
