Sweet vintage clam shell pendant crafted in 18 carat yellow gold. This puffed shell is lovely with ridged details and a hinge at it's top, like a claw shell. It can be opened to reveal a large creamy white cultured pearl inside. The pearl really adds to this piece, it has a beautiful lustre with pink overtones. Circa 1970s - 1980s.

Tag with 750, for 18 carat gold, on the interior top of the shell. Professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat gold which is yellow in colour.

Measures approx 12.5 mm / 0.49 inches tall not including bail by 9.7 mm / 0.38 inches wide.

Shell weighs 1.6 grams.
