Spinel and diamond dress ring dating to the mid 20th century. A large cabochon cut black spinel is set in the centre of extraordinary white gold filigree work. Small roughly cut diamonds accent the metal work. From the side the stunning two-tone filigree can be seen with the white gold on top of the yellow gold. The undercarriage and band of this ring are 14 carat yellow gold. Dates circa mid 20th century, 1950s - 1970s, Continental European in origin.

Spinel: black, oval shape, cabochon cut, approx 12 mm by 10 mm.

Diamonds: 12, roughly cut, approx 1 mm each.

Marked 585 for 14 carat gold and tested as such.

Size: UK - I; US - 4.3; EU - 15.25. This ring cannot be made any smaller. It can be sized up to M.5 / 6.5. Sizing available for an additional fee.

Measures approx 15.6 mm wide on the finger and stands 7.8 mm tall off the finger.
