Vintage 9ct gold snake bracelet. This bangle is formed with sprung 9k gold to make a serpent design. The head and tail meet at the top so that the snake's body is wrapped around the wrist. This snake's head and tail are engraved with scales and red spinels are inset as eyes. The design makes this piece flexible, easy to bend to get on and off. Circa 1980s.

Hallmarked for 9 carat gold, date letter for 1985.

Measures approx 18.5 cm / 7.3 inches in circumference. Approx 1.44 cm / 0.57 inches wide where the head and tail overlap and 3.6 mm at back.
