Victorian love knot yellow gold dangle earrings. These earrings are shaped into the classic lovers knot design with the two rings interlocked. One of the rings is textured and the other smooth and shiny. The knots are particularly large and a small diamond is bead set into the centre of each. The knots swing from a quatrefoil design of golden beads. Circa 1880s, British in origin.

Diamonds: 2, roughly cut, approx 1.3 mm each.

Not hallmarked, tested and assessed as 9 carat gold.

Measure approx 3.95 cm / 1.55 inches long and 1.82 cm / 0.71 inches wide.

Weigh 6.6 grams.
