Vintage mid century sputnik charm. This hallow form pendant is designed as a sphere with several arms sticking out from it. Set into the end of each of the arms is a paste. The paste are four different colours: red, blue, green and purple. This style of charm became popular in the mid 20th century when the Soviet satellite was the first into space. It's size, shape and bright colours make it fun and easy to wear. Circa 1960s, possibly Continental European in origin.

Stamps on the bail unknown to us. Professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat gold.

Measures approx 2.13 cm / 0.83 inches tall including bail by 1.75 cm / 0.69 inches across.
