Sweet sapphire and rose cut diamond ring in the shape of a flower. The small bright blue sapphire is bezel set in a platinum topped mounting surrounded by eight petal shapes. The petals are alteratnately set with rose cut diamonds and engraved with a a beaded design. A very fine row of milgrain beading outlines the diamonds and sapphire creating an + shape of beading across this ring. Circa 1910s - 1920s, British in origin.

Diamonds: 4, rose cut, approx 1.2 mm each.

Stamped 18ct PLAT. This ring is tested and assessed as mostly 18 carat yellow gold with the gemstones set into a platinum top.
