Art Deco diamond engagement ring crafted in platinum. This ring is set with an early round brilliant cut diamond in the centre. The diamond is held with beaded shaped claws and set into a square setting which frames it. Set into the shoulders are small single cut diamond. The triangle shape of the shoulders is accented with a little chevron design which gives way to a flat shank in keeping with the geometric design of this ring. The side view is unfussy with a little flourish under the centre diamond. Circa 1930s, likely North American in origin.
