Old mine cut diamond and black enamel ring. This art deco era ring is set with an old mine cut diamond. The diamond is an antique cut and not quite round in shape. The diamond is framed in black enamel with rows of milgrain between the diamond and enamel creating a striking contrast. Around the edges of the square, visible from sides, is pierced and engraved leaf design. This engraving continues down the setting. Diamond dates to the late 1800s and the setting to the 1920s, probably North American in origin.

Diamond: old mine cut, approx 3.2 mm, 0.14 carats as calculated within the setting.

Stamped 18k, professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat gold.

Size: UK - M 3/4; US - 6 5/8; EU - 17. This ring can be sized between K / 5.25 and P / 7.75. Sizing available for an additional fee.

Measures approx 11.25 mm by 11.1 mm on top and stands 4.55 mm tall off the finger.
