Mid 20th century diamond engagement ring. A round brilliant cut diamond of approx 0.25 carats is set into a fishtail style claw setting. The style of the claws gives the diamond a square look. On the sides are two diamonds, set into a bow shaped design. The space between the diamonds and the edge of the ring are pierced and lined in milgrain beading. This is a low profile setting with a D shaped profile shank. Circa 1940s.
Diamonds: centre round brilliant cut measures approx 4.1 mm, calculated in setting as 0.25 carats, G / H colour, VS2 clarity. 4 single cut accent diamonds total 0.06 carats. Diamond weight calculated within the limits of the mounting.
Stamped 100 IRID 900 PLAT, professionally tested and assessed as platinum.
Size: UK - M; US - 6 1/4; EU - 16 3/4. This ring can be sized between K.5 / 5.5 and Q / 8.25. Sizing available for an additional fee.
Measures approx 4.9 mm wide and tapers to 2 mm wide at back centre, and stands 4.2 mm tall off the finger.
