Blue Zircon drop pendant dating to the early 20th century. Two light teal blue zircons are set in a delicate gold setting. Each of the zircons is secured by six small white gold claws on a rose gold mounting. The top zircon is a chubby oval shape, not much off round. Suspended from it is beautiful and rose gold open wire work with a further zircon. The bottom blue zircon is round in shape lending this piece a beautiful tapered design. The colour is a sea blue, paler than a lot of zircons. This pendant is articulated in four places allowing for great movement. Circa early 20th century.

We've added a modern 9 carat rose gold trace chain. The colour of the metal work in the pendant is rosy in colour through not quite as red as the chain. Please chose the length of chain, 16 inch / 40.5 cm or 18 inch / 45.5 cm, you require at checkout.

Blue zircons: oval top measures approx 8.75 mm by 7.9 mm and is calculated in setting as 2.8 carats and round cut measures approx 9 mm and is calculated in setting as 3.6 carats for a total of 6.4 carats, calculated within the limits of the mounting.

Not marked, tested and assessed as 9 carat gold. The colour is more rosy than yellow.

Drop is approx 4.36 cm / 1.72 inches long by 9.2 mm wide.

Pendant weighs 2.6 grams, including chain is approx 3.3 - 3.35 grams.
