Antique Victorian 15 carat gold drop earrings. These pierced earrings are shaped as balls and rods. Suspended from the top dome are three spheres with two parallel rod or bone shapes. Dangling from the bottom is a further dome with a smaller sphere sat on the top. The pierced ear wires are attached to the top dome and these earrings are articulated in two places, on either side of the rod design link. Circa 1880s, British in origin.

Upon close inspection, the spheres show slight flat dents from age associated wear.

Not marked, tested as 15 carat gold.

Measure 6.15 cm / 2.42 inches long, and are approx 1.14 cm / 0.45 inches wide at widest point.

Weigh 6.4 grams.
