Antique turquoise paste and seed pearl double row ring dating to the mid Victorian era. A line of nine turquoise coloured glass form a row which passes under a row of seed pearls on one end and over the seed pearl row on the other end. The stones are graduated in size with a narrow pierced line between the rows. The combination of blue and white on gold is an eye catching one, very popular during the Victorian era. This ring is low profile and wide on the finger making it easy to wear. Fully hallmarked for 1870, English in origin.

Hallmarked for 15 carat gold, assayed in Birmingham 1870.

Size: UK - N 1/2; US - 7; EU - 17 1/4. This ring has been resized larger in the past, very carefully and with minimal disruption to the hallmark. It can be sized down to M.5 / 6.5 or up to P.5 / 8 using the same spot. Resizing available for an additional fee.

Measures approx 6.65 mm wide tapering to 2.1 mm at the back centre and stands 2.05 mm tall off the finger.

Weighs 2.45 grams.
