Edwardian tourmaline and pearl necklace in a beautiful floral style design. Pink tourmalines of various shapes and size are all bezel set to create a fluid, foliate necklace. Each of the tourmaline is set into a collet with a beaded edge with additional beading on the bars between each collet. The design is centred so that it sits at the base of the throat, with the bars curving to highlight the shape of the neck. In the middle of the tourmaline design are three articulated dangles, all set with a pear drop at the end. Little double sets of pearl inset leaf design accent the design.
The design is on a 9 carat rosey-yellow gold trace chain which secures with a barrel clasp. Circa 1900s, British in origin.
