Antique French citrine paste necklace. Twenty-eight large yellow and orange coloured faceted paste are claw set into open back settings. The citrine paste are two different sizes and alternate in a two large, five small pattern all the way around. Double oval links connect each stone to it's neighbours. Circa turn of the 20th century, French in origin.

Paste: yellow to orange in colour. 20 smaller paste measure approx 8.4 mm each and 8 larger paste measure approx 12.2 mm each. Overall good condition with minor chips at the girdles commensurate with age and use. One of the smaller paste has larger chips, visible on close inspection.

French hallmarks for silver on the bezel of every few paste. Tested and assessed as 800 - 900 silver with gilt finish.

Measures approx 46 cm / 18 inches long by 1.33 cm at widest point.
