Vintage slender wedding band engraved with a ridged pattern. Deep, narrow ridges run all the way around the exterior of this bevelled edge band. Palladium bands are a rare find, I've only ever had a few. Palladium is a white metal in the same family as platinum. It's lighter than platinum, closer in weight to that of white gold. Like platinum, it's a naturally white metal which is easy to polish to a high shine. It was used in jewellery during the 1940s when platinum was needed for the war effort. Palladium has recently experienced a resurgence in popularity. Circa 1940s.

Stamped Palladium, professionally assessed and tested as such. Also marked Bristol for the maker.
