Vintage moonstone fringe necklace dating to the mid 20th century. Graduated moonstones are bezel set in silver. The 21 moonstones form a gently curved line between the collarbones when this piece is worn. The chain is original to the piece and each section forms a figure 8 linking to the next. This necklace fastens with a spring bolt style clasp and is a shorter length which sits at the base of the neck. Circa 1940s - 1950s.

Moonstones: 21, white in colour, domed on the top and flat on the back. Centre is 11.5 mm by 9.2 mm and smallest are 6.8 mm by 5.6 mm.

Stamped Sterling on the clasp, professionally tested and assessed as sterling silver.

Measures approx 40.5 cm / 16 inches long. Moonstones are set approx 16 cm / 6.5 inches long.
