Diamond half hoop wedding ring dating to the mid 20th century. This vintage ladies 18k white gold wedding band is set with nine diamonds in a tapered shape across the finger. The diamonds are graduated in size, following the taper of the band, with a slightly larger diamond on the end of line. This ring is narrow and has a D shape profile shank. The interior of which retains an engraving helping us date this ring, "B.B. to E.P. 6-29-40." There is also a patent number. Circa 1940s, North American in origin.
Diamonds: 9, round brilliant cut, 0.09 carats as calculated within the limits of the mounting.
Stamped 18k and a maker's mark. Professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat white gold. Maker's mark is unknown.
Size: UK - M.5; US - 6.5; EU - 17. This ring can be sized between K / 5.25 / 15,9 and O / 7.25 / 17,5. Sizing available for an additional fee.
