Lovely vintage blue zircon and diamond ring dating to the mid 20th century. A large light blue zircon is set in a swirl of old mine old diamonds. The mounting comes from behind, curving around the zircon with the very top of the setting studded with four old cut diamonds. The diamonds are bead set into white gold and framed in milgrain beading.

Zircon is one of December's birthstones. This ring would be a great engagement ring or gift for a December baby.

Blue zircon: approx 6 mm wide and calculated in setting as 1.33 carats.

Diamonds: 4, old mine cut, approx 0.10 carats together.

Stamped 18, there is also a maker's mark. This ring is tested and assessed as 18 carat gold.

Measures approx 10.10 mm wide and stands 5 mm tall off the finger.
