Beautiful 22 carat gold wedding ring dating to the 1960s. This medium width ladies wedding band is heavy. The exterior is a D shape profile with lightly softened interior for a more comfortable fit. 22 carat gold is a rich, buttery shade. Unlikely earlier rings, which tend to be slightly rosy in colour, this ring is more yellow in tone. This is a simple, classic style which is plenty wide enough to wear alone or can be paired with another band or ring. Circa 1960s, British in origin.
Fully hallmarked for 22 carat gold, assayed in London, date letter for 1967.
