Victorian sterling silver drop earrings. These puffed earrings are circular in shape. A back is plain and cupped in shape. To the front is a domed design, engraved with ivy and outlined with a beaded edge. Further beaded and engraved sections step down. These earrings date to the late 19th century. The ear wires are possibly later replacements.

Not marked, professionally tested and assessed as sterling silver. These earrings show signs of having been gilted, though most of that has worn off over the years.

Drop approx 3.36 cm / 1.33 inches by 1.98 cm / 0.78 inches wide by 0.075 cm / 0.30 inches deep.

Weighs 7.25 grams together.
