Antique 18 carat yellow gold keeper ring dating to the late Victorian era. Bands of gold are elegantly plaited or braided together across the top of the finger forming a knot. This ring is crafted in a bright and striking 18 carat yellow gold. To the sides a split shank design where the bands of gold come together can be seen. Full clear hallmarks are inside this ring. Circa 1880s, British in origin.

Fully hallmarked for 18 carat gold, assayed in Birmingham, date letter o for 1888.
