Antique 15ct gold intaglio seal. This mid 19th century seal is set with an engraved amethyst in a shield shape. The seal is engraved with a foulded anchor beneath the word Esperenza, Spanish for Hope.

This miniature fob is exquisite and beautifully designed. The domed section is engraved with a large scrolling pattern on top of which birds, possibly doves, are perched. The doves form a full hoop around the top. Circa mid 19th century.

Not hallmarked, professionally tested and assessed as 15 carat gold.

Seal bottom tested as amethyst. Foil backed.

Measures approx 1.57 cm / 0.62 inches tall not including the bail, and the bottom is 1.08 cm by 0.92 cm.
