Art Deco sapphire and diamond engagement ring. A round cut deep blue sapphire is set in triple claw prongs between illusion set diamonds. The combination of sapphires and diamonds is one of our favourites, they contrast really setting each other off! The tapered shoulders are engraved with faceted beads and lined in milgrain beading. A sweet flower is engraved beneath this before leading to a gently curved comfort fit or court fit band. Circa 1930s, British in origin.

Sapphire: deep blue, round cut, approx 5.25 mm and calculated in setting as 0.45 carats.

Diamonds: 2, single cut, approx 0.06 carats together.

Size: UK - K 1/2; US - 5 3/4; EU - 16 1/4. This ring can be sized between J / 4.75 and P.5 / 8.

Measures approx 5.6 mm wide and stands 5 mm tall.

Weighs 2.9 grams.
