Sapphire and diamond three stone engagement ring. This circa 1940s ring is set with a square step-cut sapphire between two round cut diamonds. The central sapphire is bezel or rub over set with the flanking diamonds bead set. Each of the shoulders are engraved with a dotted pattern which is topped. This ring faces up as though it's set in white metal, however the D shape profile band is yellow. Circa 1940s, British in origin.

Sapphire: approx 4.2 mm square and estimated in setting as 0.45 carats.

Diamonds: 2, round single cut, approx 0.03 carats total.

Stamped 18ct & PLATINUM. This ring is tested and assessed as mostly 18 carat yellow gold with the gemstone mounting as platinum.

Size: UK - O 1/2; US - 7 1/2; EU - 55.5. This ring can be sized between M / 6.25 / 52,5 and R.5 / 9 / 58,75. Sizing available for an additional fee.

Measures approx 4.95 mm by 13.3 mm on top and rises 5.5 mm tall off the finger.
