Sapphire & diamond cluster ring dating to the Art Deco era. A royal blue oval cut sapphire is bezel set in a white top and accented with a single row of milgrain beading around the edge. Six bead set single cut diamonds are illusion set around the outside. The diamonds are bright and sparkly with their setting designed to make them stand out. The gemstones are set in platinum on a narrow D shape profile yellow gold band. Circa 1930s, British in origin.

Sapphire: oval cut, approx 4.7 mm by 3.6 mm.

Diamonds: 6, single cut, approx 0.12 carats total weight as calculated within the limits of the mounting.

Stamped 18ct PLAT, professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat yellow gold with the gemstones set into a platinum top.
