Vintage ruby & diamond three stone engagement ring. A brilliantly red round cut ruby is flanked by smaller single cut diamonds. The gemstones are set into an engraved square mounting which is graduated in size. The gems gleam from their platinum topped house. This ring is completed by a slender D shaped yellow gold shank. Circa 1930s, British in origin.
Ruby: vivid red, round cut, approx 1.9 mm.
Diamonds: 2, single cut, approx 0.03 carats total.
Faintly stamped, partly legible as PLA c. Professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat yellow gold with the gemstones set into a platinum top.
Size: UK - K.5; US - 5.5; EU - 16,1. This ring can be sized between J / 4.75 / 15,7 and O / 7.25 / 17,5. Sizing available for an additional fee.
Measures approx 4.55 mm by 10.85 mm on top by 2.9 mm deep. 1.3 mm band.
Weighs 1.6 grams.
