Antique rose cut diamond drop pendant. This diamond necklace is simply stunning! A simple and classic trace chain is attached to a bezel set old European cut diamond. At the base of the articulated bar is a larger, high domed rose cut diamond. Both diamonds are lined in milgrain beading. The bar is narrow and knife edge giving the impression the bottom diamond is floating. A classic, gorgeous look which is easy to dress up. Circa early 20th century. The bolt clasp on the chain has been replaced at some point.

Diamonds: 1 rose cut and 1 old European cut. Rose cut at the bottom is approx 6.4 mm, white in colour with some natural inclusion visible under close inspection but not at normal viewing distance while being worn. Old European cut at the top is approx 3.35 mm, near colourless and eye clean. All details given within the limits of the mounting.

Not stamped, professionally tested and assessed as platinum.

Measures approx 2.9 cm / 1.15 inch drop. Wearable length is 41.5 cm /16.5 inches.
