Vintage sapphire and diamond engagement ring. This ring is set with a rectangular cut deep blue sapphire in a halo of diamonds. The sapphire sits slightly above the diamonds which are bead set in a scalloped edge design. The deep blue of the sapphire contrasts nicely with the sparkle of the white diamonds. This is a stunning ring with gemstones set into white metal, tested as platinum, which is typical, on a slender gold band. Circa 1930s - 1940s, British in origin.

Sapphire: deep blue, rectangle in shape, approx 5.4 mm by 4.8 mm and calculated in setting as approx 0.70 carats.

Diamonds: 12, eight cut, approx 0.16 carats total weight.

Stamped18ct PLAT. Professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat yellow gold with the gemstones set into a platinum top.

Size: UK - P; US - 7.75; EU - 56,25. This ring can sized down to L / 5.75 or made several sizes larger. Sizing available for an additional fee.
