Vintage emerald and diamond engagement ring. A bright green round cut emerald is bezel set in the centre of a diamond halo. The emerald is stunning! The vivid green shines in the light and the halo of eight diamonds create little sparkles. This mounting is engraved on the white gold shoulders and from the top the D shape profile yellow gold band just shows. Circa 1960s, British in origin.

Emerald: bright, vivid green round cut. Approx 3.5 mm and calculated in setting as 0.18 carats.

Diamonds: 8 single cut, approx 0.06 carats total as calculated within the limits of the mounting.

Fully hallmarked for 18 carat gold, assayed in Birmingham, date letter for 1965.
