Blue zircon single stone ring flanked by a trio of old cut diamonds. Eight claws hold a brilliantly vivid blue zircon. The colour is just amazing! A small cluster of three diamonds are grouped into a half bezel setting on each side of the larger zircon. These gemstones are mounted on a slender white band. Circa mid 20th century.
Zircon is a natural stone which comes in a variety of colours. It's often heat treated to assist in producing the beautiful teal blue colour which has been popular from the Victorian times and experienced a resurgence in the 1940s and again recently.
Blue zircon: teal-blue in colour, approx 8.25 mm and estimated in setting as 3.3 carats. Some light facet wear in keeping with age and wear.
Diamonds: 6, old single cut, approx 0.15 carats together.
Stamped 18ct, professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat white gold.
Size: UK - L; US - 5.75; EU - 51,5. This ring is not recommended for resizing down and can be sized up to P / 7.75 / 56,5. Sizing available for an additional fee.
Measures approx 9.2 mm wide by 5.95 mm deep. 1.4 mm band.
