Old European diamond solitaire pendant. This half carat (est) antique diamond is set into a low collet with six sets of double claws. The diamond has a small table, very high crown, and medium sized culet. It's a gorgeous diamond with a lovely, even facet pattern. This diamond pendant started life as another piece and arrived to is in it's collet. We've kept it in it's claws and simply added a small bail to make it into a pendant. Circa early 20th century diamond, modern conversion.

Diamond: old European cut, approx 5 mm and calculated within the limits of the mounting as 0.50 carats, I / J colour, VS2 clarity.

Not stamped, professionally tested and assessed as platinum claws and bail with an 18 carat gold flat bottom.

Measures approx 5.6 mm across.

Weighs 0.44 grams.
