Art deco emerald and diamond engagement ring. A square set beautifully green emerald is set in a milgrain beaded bezel set. The emerald is a square shape and step cut and is a stunning, bright green in colour. Four small diamonds are bead set at the north, south, east and west with engraved beads between them, forming a frame around the emerald. These diamonds are set into pointed edges giving this ring a geometric design. The edges dip between each of the diamonds which are lined with a beaded edge. The gemstones are set into a platinum top on a slender and delicate gold band. Circa 1920s - 1930s, British in origin.

Emerald: square in shape, step cut, approx 2.5 mm.

Diamonds: 4, single cut, approx 0.03 carats total.

Stamped 9ct PLAT. Professionally tested and assessed as 9 carat yellow gold with the gemstones in a platinum top.

Size: UK - L.5; US - 6; EU - 16,5. This ring can be sized between I.5 / 4.5 loose / 15,3 and Q.5 / 8.5 / 18,5. Sizing available for an additional fee.

Measures approx 8.65 mm wide by 3.2 mm deep. 1.25 mm band.
