Antique engagement ring dating to the early 20th century. This early Art Deco ring is set with the most fantastic French cut lab created sapphire. French cut is a cutting style where the table is cut at an angle to the girdle creating kite shaped facets at the corners and a diamond shaped table facet. Sloping shoulders are pierced with a leaf design and lined in a milgrain beaded edge. Each of the shoulders is set with a single diamond. Circa mid 1910s - 1920s.
